Geothermal resources may also provide direct thermal energy for industrial processing, controlled-environment agriculture, aquaculture and desalination.

Allasso Energy is a strong believer in continuous improvement and learning from past experience. The last attempt at geothermal energy in Australia resulted in the publishing of three challenges to the industry. Allasso has addressed those three challenges.

1. Identifying It -  Selecting geothermal opportunities with strong resource evidence, infrastructure access and nearby commercial demand. 
2. Delivering It -  Matching conventional, advanced or closed-loop technologies to the geology and energy requirements of each project. 
3. Commercialising It -   Integrating resource appraisal, customer engagement, strategic partnerships and staged financing to establish a clear pathway toward development. 

Allasso Energy's Leadership Team each have over 25 years of commercial and technical experience in successfully bringing energy projects to market.

 Andrew Somoff has more than 30 years of experience across the energy and resources sectors, including senior global executive and public-company director roles. His geothermal work has focused on identifying commercially attractive resources located close to infrastructure and major energy demand.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics and a Master of Engineering in Reservoir and Drilling Engineering. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Pat Holywell has more than 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, corporate governance and company secretarial roles across the resources and technology sectors. His previous experience includes Deloitte and Patersons, now Canaccord Genuity, together with senior governance roles in ASX-listed companies.

Pat is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course.
